The value for the broad-spectrum product remains constant, whereas protection with the UVB sunscreen decreases with increasing latitude. Note that even on the equator (0°), the daylight SPF of the UVB sunscreen is lower than the SPF obtained in vivo or simulated with a European Cosmetics Association (COLIPA)-compliant source. This is because the COLIPA source has more UVB than solar UVR, even under extreme conditions.
