INSTRUCTIONS Select a few appropriate ‘Game breaks’ to include other online safety messages during the game. Practise actions for each of them with the class. Create a track of around 20 ‘dots’ using chalk/hoops/spots Teams start at opposite ends of the track and two-footed jump towards each other. When they meet, they play ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ to protect their team. The Rock, Paper or Scissors represent their password. If they win, they chose a secure password. If they lose, their password was not secure enough. Loser leaves the track and joins the back of their team. Winner keeps going and next person from losing team sets off to meet them. The aim is to reach the opposite end of the track. Remind children that we use secure passwords, safe screen-names and privacy settings to protect ourselves online. Include ‘Game breaks’. When a game break is called everyone stops to do an appropriate action.
