Presentation transcript:

The three What are three things that should never be violated? For each idea tell me why you chose that as one of the three things that should never be broken. What should happen to people who break that idea?

The Plan A look at the sections of the Declaration of Independence Declaration activity Construct your own Declaration of independence that we will make rustic Presentations

The Basics Written by Thomas Jefferson The three sections are Preamble, Grievances, and Severance The document details unalienable rights that all people should have Also it talks about the ways they disagreed with the king The declaration was dangerous to the patriots that signed it and supported it Think of the Declaration of Independence like a break up letter

The Rights I want you to look through the sheet and answer the questions Make a justification after each right detailed on the sheet Make sure you sign it to declare that you agree with the statements

The Activity On the back of the paper I want you to break it up into three sections The first section write about three rights all people should have The second section should be five things that you don’t like about school that should be changed The last section should be about what you promise the rest of your year will look like After you are done get it signed by people around you who read it and agree with it on the bottom section
