February 7, 2019 8th Grade Science Announcements: Gravity and Electricity test Friday 2/15 What you need today: Science Notebook Pen/Pencil bag 2 3 Table of Contents: Daily Question/Warm-Up: Open your NB to page 115 for stamps on your work from yesterday. Write test date in planner.

Circuit Lab Instructions Use the materials at your station to light the Christmas light. Each battery= 1.5 Volts Once you have figured that out, try to light an LED. Each LED light needs the following amount of voltage to light: White: 3.2-3.4 volts Red: 1.9-2.1 volts Blue: 2.8-3.0 volts Green: 2.8-3.0 volts Yellow: 1.8-2.2 volts You have the choice of working as a lab group and creating 2 boards or working as a pair and creating 1 board. When your group is done, get a piece of blank paper and draw your circuit using schematic symbols. Only one page per group.
