Geoscientific Model Development (GMD) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of the description, development and benchmarking of numerical models of the Earth System and its components. GMD will provide a means by which the hard work of model developers can be formally recognised and published. All papers to include model name and version number in title. Special Issues for very large models, such as GCMs. First 1000 pages are free! Standard EGU format, including Open Access, Open Reviews, Discussions paper.
