Introduction “Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” –Scott Adams. Ever since I was a kid, I loved drawing and designing things. I always learned best by drawing or pictures. I was also pretty good with a computer. My parents always were always asking me with help on it. I was pretty interested in this career, with my parents guidance and support I will hopefully be going into this career field. Big or small companies need a logo or something that interprets what they do or how they are. An example is McDonald’s with their famous golden arch. People recognize you by the logo. Graphic designers promote a product or advertise it to make it look good. If the design is not good, then people may think the company or product is bad. In order to get a better understanding of my chosen career field, I will be researching nature of work, working conditions, (training/ qualifications/ advancement, job outlook/ employment, earnings and related occupation.

Nature Of Work Meet with clients/art directors. Advise clients on strategies. Message wanting to portray. Create images. Develop graphics/visual/audio images. Product illustrations, logos, and websites.

Summary After researching this career and working on this project for 3 days, I have decided this is the job for me. I believe that I am pretty good at doing this type of job right now, so I think this would be a good job for me. I cannot wait to go to school and be successful in life so I can buy stuff and help my family. I really want to use my creative skills to make products and logos. I’m to really looking forward to meeting with clients far away or for a long time. But overall, I am pretty excited about this job. I learned a lot of things over this 3 day project, and I am just as or more excited about this job than I was.
