National PTA 2018 Legislative Conference National PTA 2018 Legislative Conference – March 13-15, 2018 – Arlington, VA and Capitol Hill, Washington, DC – Register at www.pta.org. PTA members from all across the country and Europe will be able to meet, engage, and share best practices. Members will be able to meet, engage, and build relationships with their federal elected officials on Capitol Hill Members will learn more about new federal education law - Every Student Succeeds Act – implementation Learn about other issues of interest, including Statewide Family Engagement Centers, career and technical education reauthorization, child nutrition.

NOVA District PTA Event – February 6 NOVA District PTA awarded a National PTA grant to host Safer Internet National Day on Tuesday, February 6! Only 1 of 4 states to host this event Grant provided by LifeLock and their Smart Talk program offered to PTA members across the nation. Panel forum at Luther Jackson Middle School auditorium at 7 p.m. with complimentary dinner being served at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
