Goal 1: Assure early literacy K-3 Year 1: Purchase Iread and System 44 software Purchase computer labs for 3 program improvement schools (Aileen Colburn, Bellevue, Peggy Heller) Purchase diagnostic reading assessment (Scholastic Reading Inventory, ESGI) Provide training and coaching with software and materials to teachers, aides, and principals through coaching, consultants, and conferences Provide collaboration time for teachers 3 days/year Provide English language acquisition classes for parents Decrease the computer – student ratio for technology

Goal 4: Close the achievement gap grades 4-8 Purchase reading and math interventions for students who are 2 or more grade levels below as defined by diagnostic assessments Purchase Common Core aligned instructional materials Provide coaching, consultants, and professional learning for teachers, principals, and instructional aides Provide collaboration time for teachers (3 days/year) Offer intersession academic camps
