REMEMBER THE CALENDAR ON THE BACK! September 24, 2013 Mrs. Barth Hi Parents, Well, the rain is here, and the viruses are being shared! If your child is sick, please call the office in the morning between 8:00 and 9:00, so we are able to set work aside. Remember to check my website if you have questions on what assignments are due or what we are working on while your child is ill. I blog and update homework assignments daily on http://barthsclassroom.weebly.com Even the Tuesday letters and chapel events are updated every week. Progress reports are included as well as some graded papers in this Tuesday folder. Please sign and return. If you have any concerns, please contact me and we can set up a time to meet and visit about grades and assignments. Many of the students crashed and burned on their Vocab quiz last Friday, and they do have the option of retaking it this Friday. Part of the reason for the low grades was because we helped with MOPS and did not have time for charades, but the students should study a little bit on their own. Remember to email me if you haveany non-urgent concerns, but call the office if you have any urgent concerns, and they will get a message to me immediately. MARK YOUR CALENDARS Wednesday, 09/25/13: This is SYATP 2013; otherwise, known as See You at The Pole. You are welcome to join chapel at 10:30 and pray for the country’s leaders. Comb your hair, wear a shirt with a strong color (s), and smile! Thursday-Friday, October 9th and 10th: Opal Creek Outdoor Education . Permission slips coming home soon. Rachel Beede, Mrs. Barth will be sleeping in lodge with girls, and Mr. Visser and Mr. Brusven will be sleeping in bunk house with girls. It will be our school only. We will come to school like normal on Wednesday and do math, and return Thursday around 1:30 p.m., and students can be dismissed upon arrival at SCS. More logistical details will be coming home soon.  Wednesday, October 30th: Pumpkin Patch Field Trip! We will leave about 12:30 from SCS.
