Cafeteria Expectations

Being RESPECTFUL Means: To honor the rights or wishes of others.

Keep Hands to Self Eat your own lunch Ask to share Wait for permission

STOP, LOOK, & LISTEN If an adult gives instructions: stop turn around politely look at them listen follow instructions

Talk…Avoid Yelling Use appropriate VOLUME and LANGUAGE Keep voices down: other students are still in class The lunch area is for eating – not playing

Being RESPONSIBLE Means: To behave in a sensible way so other people will trust you.

Wait Your Turn in Line Stay between the red lines while waiting Saving spaces is not allowed Taking cuts is not allowed Move to the lunch area once you get your food

Keep ALL Food in Lunch Area Food and drinks stay at the lunch tables That Means NO Food in: PE area hallways restrooms intramurals

Clean Up Your Area Pick up trash from TABLES Pick up trash from the GROUND Put all trash in trash cans

Not likely to cause any physical injury or harm. Being SAFE Means: Not likely to cause any physical injury or harm.

Stay In Designated Areas Cross the YELLOW line with adult permission ONLY You may cross the WHITE line with: adult permission OR an ID card with a yellow sticker Get adult permission to use restrooms

Keep Your Food OFF the Ground If you don’t want a food item don’t take it or throw it in the trash Keep food on the tables Food is for eating and absolutely nothing else
