Example 1

Pattern? In other words, Area of 1st x k2 = Area of 2nd When all lengths are multiplied by a scale factor k, the Areas are multiplied by k2 In other words, Area of 1st x k2 = Area of 2nd

Example 2 The volume of the cuboid 3cm x 4cm x 5cm = 60 cm3

Pattern? Volume of 1st x K3 = Volume of 2nd When all the lengths are multiplied by K, The volumes are multiplied by K3 Volume of 1st x K3 = Volume of 2nd
