VENIR EXAMPLE SENTENCES Ils viennent au lac avec Paul. They’re coming to the lake with Paul Est-ce que tu viens au parc avec nous? Are you coming to the park with us? I’m coming to the opera. Je viens à l’opéra

Passé Récent To tell things that just happened (recent past) EXAMPLES Venir + de + infinitive of another verb This is a way to say something just happened EXAMPLES Je viens de téléphoner Ali. I just phoned Ali. Il vient de pleuvoir. It was just raining.
