Definition the migration of an increasing proportion of (rural dwellers) into cities

Why does this happen? More jobs available in large cities Industrialization of farming has put many small and medium sized farms out of business Universities, governments run out of cities Health Care Social Communities (Ex: China Town, Little Italy, etc.)

Not always what they hoped… Some people come from rural areas to the city looking for work or a better life, but they cannot afford to live there and make shanty towns.
