Plant Adaptations How do plants survive?

Plant Adaptations: Study Jams http://studyjams.scholastic.com/studyjams/jams/science/plants/plant-adaptations.htm

Tropisms What is a tropism? Plants may not be able to move, but they are able to change how they grow in response to their environment. Growth toward or away from a stimulus is known as a tropism. There are three types of tropisms that you will learn about today.

Types of Tropisms Phototropism Gravitropism Thigmotropism

Types of Tropisms Video Follow along with the following video, making sure to fill in your FIB notes as you watch. Tropism Video

Time Lapse Videos Phototropism Gravitropism

Conclusion Questions What is the difference between the three types of tropisms that you learned today? How is phototropism beneficial to a plant? Explain how tropisms can help a plant survive.
