Activator:

Objective: MCAS Review I will be able to look for and make use of structure, look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning, and make sense and persevere in solving real world and mathematical problems. So I can learn how to familiarize myself with how to navigate the TestNav 8 computer-based environment (advancing, going back, tool bar, embedded supports and accommodations) and how to answer practice test questions. I will know I got it when I can listen, read the slides and then verbally discuss any questions, concerns and answers with my teacher and classmates. SMP 1, SMP 7 and SMP 8

Vocabulary Exponential expressions Ratio Congruent cubes Table Right rectangular prism Drop-down menu Volume Right triangle Cubic inches Area Square meters Equation Interquartile range Plot Point Number line

We are going to walk through how to navigate the MCAS online practice test. http://mcas.pearsonsupport.com/student/practice-tests-math/ PLEASE make sure you write on the handout to show your work before we submit our answers!

Get ready to work hard for MCAS, make sure you have a silent reading book with you.
