Template Instructions 1. There are 3 different layouts for your slides. Presentation Title slide – use this for the title of your talk and name(s) of presenters. Title and Content slide – use this for your text-based slides. Limit the text to phrases; do not use complete sentences Limit the number of bullets per slide Consider using the Animation feature (e.g., appear or wipe) so you can speak to each bullet as it appears Best practice – limit the text, and use a photo or other visual to evoke emotion – excitement, curiosity, empathy, etc. Blank Slide 2. When you click New Slide you get the same layout as the slide you were on. To apply a new slide layout: On the Home ribbon, in the Slides group, click Select the desired layout for your new slide, as shown here
