A Brief Biblical Theology of Holiness

What does it mean to be holy? A BRIEF BIBLICAL THEOLOGY OF HOLINESS What does it mean to be holy?

This might be especially true regarding many holiness theologies. Everyone is a theologian. But not every theology is equally valid. This might be especially true regarding many holiness theologies.

What does it mean to be holy? To remove from common use; Subject to special treatment; Consecrated or set apart; To dedicate to service and loyalty to God, and so involving proper conduct. What does it mean to be holy?

What kinds of things are declared as holy in the Scriptures? Days—Genesis 2:3 Spaces—Exodus 26:33-34; 28:29 Things—Leviticus 5:16; Leviticus 10:10 God’s name—Leviticus 20:3 Ground/Place—Exodus 3:5; Neh. 11:18   People—Exodus 22:31; Isaiah 62:12 What kinds of things are declared as holy in the Scriptures?
