Please make sure your child is at school Monday, March 21st and Tuesday, March 22nd. Spring break will now be Wednesday, March 23rd through Friday, April 1st. The other two days will be made up at the end of the year. 3 Week Standards Language: 2.1.5 Identify and correctly use irregular plural words. 2.1.8 Use knowledge of individual words to predict the meaning of unknown compound words. 2.2.6 Recognize cause and effect relationships in a text. Math: 2.3.3 Recognize and extend a linear pattern by its rules. 2.3.4 Create, describe, and extend number patterns using addition and subtraction. 2.5.4 Estimate area and use a given object to measure the area of other objects. 2.6.3 Explain the reasoning used and justify the procedures selected in solving a problem. 2.6.4 Make precise calculations and check the validity of the results in the context of the problem. 2.6.5 Understand and use connections between two problems. Dressing for the Weather As the weather gets warmer, we are hoping to get the kids back outside for recess! Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately every day! If students are not dressed for the weather we cannot go outside. We are also noticing several students wearing non-uniform clothing. Hoodies and shirts with writing are not part of our dress policy.
