Alliances Formal agreement between two or more nations to cooperate and come to one another’s defense

Militarism Glorification or Built up of the military

Trench Warfare Warfare in which the opposing forces attack and counterattack from a relatively permanent system of trenches protected by barbed-wire

Assassination To kill (someone, such as a famous or important person) usually for political reasons

Neutrality Policy of supporting neither side in a war
