Week of: March 2 - March 6, 2015 We’ve Been Busy! A Look at Next Week… This week in our Phonetic Connections curriculum, we focused on the /g/ sound. We practiced rhyming words, writing and reading CVC words. Monday, the 2nd, was Dr. Seuss’s birthday! We celebrated the whole week with dress up days, reading fun stories, and even new books! We continued our study of the 7 continents by visiting Australia. We wrote facts about Australia. In math, we solved the questions “How Many More to 10?” using the Seuss texts, 10 Apples Up On Top and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
