Alumni Career Services Alumni Association Club Leadership

The UK Alumni Association presently offers alumni career services to university alumni and association members. Career Services are available in person, by phone, through and via Skype. Services include various programs and events, as well as individual counseling with a professional alumni career counselor. Alumni Career Services

One complementary individual consultation with an alumni career counselor is available for all UK Alumni per year. * Beginning July 1, 2012, ACS will be provided exclusively for Alumni Association members. UK Alumni Association members are entitled to 4 sessions per year.

Association Member Benefit Alumni Career Services is a great UK Alumni Association member benefit! ACS offered exclusively for members. Up to 4 complimentary sessions per year, including career assessments and interpretation.

ACS Outreach ACS goes on the road! In-Person appointments and evening events in: Louisville Northern KY and Cincinnati

ACS Events Career Assessment Workshops Alumni learn about the career decision-making process and what they need in a career to be more satisfied. Results from the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator will be interpreted to help with the process. Individual and interactive group exercises are used during the workshop. Alumni Networking Events Fall 2012, Barrel House Alumni Speed Networking Spring 2012, Pure Blue Networking. The owners shared a bit about their career paths, and the challenges and rewards of starting a small business in today's economy.

New This Year Alumni Career Spotlights Youre Doing What with Your Major? Career Relaunch: Workshop for Women A soul-searching career exploration group to help women find career focus, direction, new ideas, and confidence to relaunch their career. (30 participants, class filled with waitlist) I was stuck getting started on positive activities that would help in my career advancement plan. This workshop has given me concrete steps to take. It has opened my mind to several avenues that I can pursue. I feel like I have more tools to move forward. The workshop gave me more self-knowledge which will help me focus my job search and more self-confidence and motivation.
