3 Gospel Commitments Gospel Truth - We are committed to the truth of scripture, and believe its central message is the Gospel; the message of God’s gracious work to redeem sinners. Gospel Community - We are committed to knowing, loving and serving one another as brothers and sisters united in Christ. Gospel Mission - Individually and corporately, we are committed to declaring and demonstrating the Gospel to our communities, our cities and the nations.

3 Gospel Commitments Gospel Community - We are committed to knowing, loving and serving one another as brothers and sisters united in Christ.

Gospel Community We were created to be relational with God and with others. Sin destroys these relationships. Christ rescues, redeems, and restores these and creates a gospel community called the church. The church is designed to be one body, yet has many members and gifts as it functions.

“Camaraderie is built by shared experience, shared hardship, and shared purpose. Ranger leaders always look for ways to remind each man that he’s part of something important something bigger than himself…what an honor it was to belong to a group whose members pledged to cultivate an environment where men felt compelled not to be simply good, but better. Church should be a place where I am reminded of the value of pursuing the cause of Christ, a place where I am encouraged to be not only good, but better. I want the church I attend to be like a tight- knit army unit, with a culture where brothers and sisters would share my beliefs and sense of purpose will keep me on track—and not hesitate to let me know if I’m becoming a liability to myself, my family or His purpose.” ~Chuck Holton

Gospel Community Characteristics: Real Deal Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Does this describe you? What if it really did?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Real Deal For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What difference would it make?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Loyalty Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor, Does this describe us? What if it really did? What difference would it make?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Passion not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; Does this describe us? What if it really did? What difference would it make?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Passion The great problems of the world…our community…and our homes will not be solved by people functioning at half capacity! Can I lay my head down tonight and be satisfied with the way I lived today?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Depth rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, Does this describe us? What if it really did? What difference would it make?

Gospel Community Characteristics: Caring contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. Does this describe us? What if it really did? What a difference this would make!
