1. PRODUCING SEEDLINGS AND MANGROVE PLANTATIONS

SELECTING SUITABLE SPECIES The selection of species suitable for a particular site is one of the essential factors in planting. Bac Lieu province has low elevation sites and daily inundation  suitable to many mangrove species such as Avicennia marina. (Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh) in Bac Lieu province coastal

DESIGNING AND BUILDING A NURSERY The nursery can be divided into several parts as described below: (i) A storage area. (ii) A material preparation area; (iii) Seedbeds; (iv) Irrigation system. For example: Design a nursery used to produce seedlings in the soil-mixed containers.
