Warm-up 9/11 1. What is an example of something that causes something else to occur? 2. What is an example of two things that are related, but one doesn’t cause the other.

Causation: Correlation: Relationship between an event and another event in which one event causes the other event. Ex: Acid rain results in crops dying in the fields. Correlation: Mutual relationship between two or more things. Ex: The stork population in Denmark increased last year, and the number of babies born increased last year too.
