#10 Gap Year 8/27 Imagine you are trying to convince your parents of the value of a “gap year,” or taking a year off between high school and college. Consider how you would build ethos, use logos, and pathos to appeal to your audience. Please have current event homework out and open No textbook needed today.

Turn in textbook activity page 42.

Analysis- 3 levels Santa Ana text Try the analysis activity Language of Analysis bookmark Keep it. You can use it when we do timed writing.

Reminders College Essay complete first drafts due tomorrow. Do not have to be typed, can be if you like. Be prepared to share and revise in class. Finish Santa Ana Analysis handout and return tomorrow. Please bring your Strunk and White tomorrow. You will not need your textbook. Vaudeville needs a junior director. See Mr. Tucker or Mr. Perry.
