Review for Nutrition test Family Feud Review for Nutrition test

What 3 pieces of information do you give that makes the website “Mypyramid” instead of just “the food guide pyramid?

Why is each section different colored?

For each of the colors I give- you say what food group it represents:

Why is each section a different size; some bigger than others overall?

What is represented by each section being wider at the bottom and narrow at the top?

According to the info in the last question, where would fast food French fries appear or be represented in the pyramid (section and position in that section)

Same question but with a raw apple?

whole milk?

pancakes with syrup? pancakes with syrup?

why is there a person climbing steps attached to the pyramid?

If the sodium content of a food was 15% daily value (%dv), would that be too high or OK? (no stealing if this is answered wrong!)

When reading a food label, if there was 25% your daily value of protein in the food, would you consider that food to be a good source of protein? (no stealing)

If a food had 40 grams of sugar, how many teaspoons would that be?

If a food had 16 grams of fat, how many teaspoons of fat would that be?

Olive garden has an appetizer called “Grilled Chicken Flatbread” and this is the description: “Grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers and basil on flatbread crust with alfredo sauce and garlic spread.” Would this be a wise choice AND why?

How about their Venetian Apricot Chicken that has the description “Grilled chicken breasts in an apricot citrus sauce. Served with broccoli, asparagus and diced tomatoes”. Please explain why.
