The main target audience this magazine front cover is aimed toward are inspirers and individualists. Skateboarding is a skill and is not something every mainstream teen will want to get into as of social classes i.e. Goths, Skaters chavs etc. Skating is only essential to the social stereotype of skaters, and this magazines front cover ironically signifies this through the costume the skateboarder is wearing, showing a very individual style of clothing, and waving his arms to the side, swaying with the flow of the ramp but almost swaying mainstreamers away. This is linked to the sub header placed above “Thrasher Magazine”, has various skateboarders last names “Reynolds x smith” this also links with die hard skaters as only they would know the last names. The puffs such as “FREE STICKERS” draw in the targeted audience as the main accessory for skateboards are stickers, which is obviously relatable to the psychographic skater.
