The power of choices… Here is a scenario: Your classmate and you get called in to the office for stealing food in the cafeteria. You’re both guilty, but the administrators need at least one of you to talk. Here are the possible scenarios. Your classmate stays silent (does not confess to anything) Your classmate talks (tells on you) You stay silent (do not confess to anything) Both go free Your classmate goes free You get 5 days OSS: You talk (tell on classmate) You go free: Your classmate gets 5 days OSS Both serve 10 days OSS Write an explanation of what you would do and why.

Would you change your choice if money were involved? Your best friend and you win a game show. However, you have to make a choice as to who gets the winning money. Your friend says Share Your friend says Keep You say Share Both get $100,000 Your friend gets all $200,000 You say Keep You get all $200,000 Nobody gets any money. Write an explanation of what you would do and why. Would it be different from your last decision? If so, why?

Narrative Now write about a time you made a choice (good or bad) that had an impact on someone else. If you can’t think of one, make it up (no background checks) Do you regret the choice you made? What did you learn from the choice? We will share these if there is time.
