Term 3 topic: 1901 – present WW2 Year 8 Homework Menu Term 3 topic: 1901 – present WW2 Each week choose a task and note in your planner what course you are trying and which task you will complete. There are 6 weeks this term, so 2 x mains, 1x starters and 1 x dessert would do it! Starter – 1 week Explain how the Treaty of Versailles made Germany feel. Write down who the allies and enemies were in WW2. Write down the definitions for these keywords – Holocaust, Final Solution, Aryan and Jews. Main Course – 2 weeks Research and find out what the consequences of the Treaty of Versailles were. Research and write down how Adolf Hilter came into power. Produce a press release which would go out to the public saying we have gone to war. Needs to have reasons why WW2 started and what will happen next. Find out and produce an information poster on what the Blitz was. Dessert – 1 week What role did women have in WW2? How was war different in WW2 to WW1? What was Pearl Harbour? Explain what D-Day was.
