Fingerprints Are they inherited?

Question: Are Fingerprints created randomly or are they influenced by genetics?

Test: How to compare fingerprints of family versus un-related people.

Variables Independent: fingerprints of relatives and friends Dependent:pattern of fingerprints Controled:fingerprints and people tested

Hypothesis If I compare fingerprints then my relatives will have a closer pattern to mine than un-related people.

Conclusion My conclusion is that the person related is closer because of the genetic system of a family.
