What is depression??? Depression: serious medical condition in which a person feels very sad, hopeless, unimportant, and often is unable to live in a normal way. Most of us feel this way at one time or another however, depression is for long periods of time.

Symptoms A big change in appetite, often weight gain or loss Tiredness and lack of energy Lack of pleasure in doing things you normally do Slow or fast movements Low mood or irritable mood most of the time Lack of activity and avoiding usual activities

Depression Triggers Death of friend or family member Moving to a new house or new school Arguments with friends Poor relationships Lack of money School being stressful Friendship problem
