Forward March Governor Ron DeSantis Announces Forward March Initiative with the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs On March 29, 2019, in News Releases, by Staff Over the following months, Forward March will meet with veterans throughout Florida’s communities to hear their stories and address the issues facing our nation’s heroes while focusing on finding ways to eliminate redundancy for effective delivery of veteran services.
Food for Vets The Food for Vets organization has relocated from Navarre to Mary Esther. The Pantry is closed for maintenance as of now and the next pantry is scheduled the 17/18th of May 2019. Pantry Day is the 3rd consecutive Friday & Saturday of the month from 9 AM - 2 PM. Donations may also be dropped off at that time or by appointment. Memorial Day Memorial Day Ceremony Beal Memorial Ceremony Monday, 27 May at 10:00 AM The Veterans Tribute Tower Committee is pleased to host the Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Beal Memorial Cemetery on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Guest speaker for this year’s ceremony is Colonel Patrick Colloton, Commander Of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Eglin, AFB. During the traditional salute to our veterans and fallen comrades, guests and organizations are invited to place a fresh flower in the Community Wreath at the base of the flagpole, and render appropriate honors.
