System Input/output Flow 1 Receive pill cartridge from pharmacy containing “Medi- Code”. 2 Input Medi-Code into system website. 3 Alarm sounds when pills are to be taken. User then presses dispense button to receive pills. 3.5 Alternative to alarm sounding: User wants to leave the house for a few hours, so they press the button to see if current time is within “flex-time”. Dispense if yes, display wait time if no. 4 When cartridge near empty or empty, system displays which cartridge is empty or the pill count when low.
