School Practices Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum * Clear guidance about content and grade level skills *Curriculum tools and materials are established *Teachers can address essential skills in the instructional blocks available

School Practices Challenging Goals and Effective Feedback *High expectations for all students * Academic goals are set for individual students and for the Edgerton as a whole * Student progress is monitored remedial and accelerated support *Students receive specific feedback for growth

School Practices Parent and Community Involvement Parents and the community are supportive of or involved in our school through: *Daily activities *Decision making about school programs and practices related to student achievement *Communication between home and school *PTA and/or volunteering

School Practices Safe and Orderly Environment *Protects students from physical or emotional harm Olweus and Safe and Civil Models *Maintains order and offers clear expectations for all *Warm, inviting climate and atmosphere
