Nature of the War It was a total war All resources of different nations were mobilized. Democratic governments directed economy by telling factories to produce what they wanted Fixed prices, wages and rationed consumer goods

Nature of the War Holocaust War of Atrocities Nazis blamed minorities for German problems Jews, Slavs, Gypsies, & physically or mentally disabled people were targeted Jews were sent to concentration camps Genocide was committed systematically War of Atrocities Japanese killed & raped Chinese, Korean, Filipino civilians.
