Origins of Language Video exercise

Please consider the following questions: 1. How many languages do we currently have in the world? 2. What are the most likely primary reasons why humans developed language? 3. What is the difference between animal communication and human communication? 4. What is the genetic reason that scientists suggest may be responsible for humans speaking so efficiently? 5. How do children acquire language? Make some notes

References The documentary is called “Fry’s Planet Word” and it was made in the 2010s by the BBC, and is largely about language. This episode is called Babel.
