Warm up Directions: Write at least one paragraph about the prompt below. Deli Delight Create a process/contents description of the perfect sandwich .

Objective & Homework Objective: Given character sketches, students will be able to make inferences and predictions about how characters, conflicting motivations, and character relationships will advance the plot in order to preview the play by understanding background information about tragedy and Sophocles's Theban plays. Homework: Finish Make up work

Directions for 248-252 Read the character sketches on page 248 and fill out the chart on 249 (this can be done with a partner or in a group). Respond to the writing prompt on page 250 on a blank piece of paper. Make sure your response is at least 5 sentences long. Read the bulleted facts on pages 250-251 and highlight at least 6 topics that help you build background information about the Cadmus family. Fill out at least $5,000 worth of squares on the Trivia game chart. Any additional squares answered will be extra credit.
