Challenge #2: That’s Not Funny! Objective: to not laugh or smile! BAD:

A Demo I am the question asker. First, I draw a card from the top of the pile.

The Card I read the question silently I’m the rootin’est tootin’est cowboy in the west, aren’t I, NAME? Answer: Yes, you’re the rootin’est tootin’est cowboy in the west, aren’t you, NAME? I read the question silently I look at the person to my left, in the eyes, and I say the question out loud with their name.

“Mmm… Hmmm!” The Agreement Then everyone else at the table must nod their heads and say: “Mmm… Hmmm!”

The Reply Then I pass the card to the answerer. Keep looking at him. The answer looks at the card…

The Card He reads the answer silently Question: I’m the rootin’est tootin’est cowboy in the west, aren’t I, NAME? Answer: Yes, you’re the rootin’est tootin’est cowboy in the west, aren’t you, NAME? He reads the answer silently He looks at the asker in the eyes, and He says the answer out loud with the asker’s name.

Moving On Put the card into the bottom of the pile. Then the person who answered now becomes the new asker. Keep going like this all the way around the circle.

What if I laugh or smile? If you are either the asker or the answer, then you are out, and you sit down. From that point on, the turns skip you. However, sitting people should still say, “Mmmm… Hmmm…” and nod their heads.

What if I laugh or smile? If you’re not the asker or answer, then you’re okay. You’re not out, and you don’t have to sit. But, if you laugh, it makes it harder for your teammates!

How do we win? Have the most people still standing when I call for time.

Ready! Set! Go!

Stop! Let’s see who’s still standing!

On with our program!
