Can you prove that the two triangles are congruent? Explain. Now, what can you conclude about Angles X and R? Explain. Once we have proven that two triangles are congruent, we know that all their corresponding parts are also congruent. We can now write a new kind of proof. First, we will prove that two triangles are congruent (using SSS, SAS, HL, ASA, or AAS). Then, we will prove that corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent (CPCTC).

Tell which triangles you can show are congruent in order to prove the statement. What postulate or theorem would you use?
