Interest Groups Project

Interest Group Project Day 1 Get into groups of 3 or 4 Get a topic from the teacher Research the interest groups in your category using the internet Create a poster to share with the class illustrating the different interest groups in your category (at least 3). Example: http://votesmart.org/interest- groups/NA/25#.Vi-JKNKrSzc Include a brief explanation of each interest groups purpose/stance on an issue For an A, the poster should illustrate three interest groups, have detail, color, and concise and clear explanations

Day 2 Gallery Walk Tape your poster to the wall and take notes on each one noting the following categories. If the poster is not posted at least ½ way through the period, it will be deemed late, as this will not give everyone time to take necessary notes. What the name of three interest groups are each category An explanation of what they represent. Please Note: Test will be next Tuesday (30 questions m.c) Study guide flashcards are due at the beginning of the period completed, or no points!
