Today’s Goal: We will begin reading and discussing Wrinkle Ch 4. Outcomes: Explain why Mrs. Who always quotes famous pieces of literature (two reasons). State what we learn for the first time about Mr. Murry. Quote how the Mrs. W’s explain the way they travel. Distinguish between Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Which regarding age and authority. Name what Mrs. Whatsit transforms into on the planet Uriel. Describe what Calvin did when Mrs. Whatsit transformed and how she responded. State the literary device used when Mrs. Whatsit translated the birds’ communication. Explain why the children needed flowers when riding Mrs. Whatsit. Identify what Mrs. Whatsit wanted the children to see when they landed on Uriel.
