ROAR Behavior of the Week If another student is being disciplined, do not stare. You wouldn’t want others looking at you if you were in trouble.

Word of the Day Monday discrepancy (noun): a lack of compatibility or similarity between two or more facts Sample sentence: Because of a discrepancy in the witness’ testimony, the defense attorney has asked the judge to drop the charges.

Word of the Day Tuesday inevitable (adjective): certain to happen; unavoidable Sample sentence: Since Mary never wears shoes, it was inevitable that she would get a piece of glass in her foot.

Word of the Day Wednesday predate (verb): exist or occur at a date earlier than something Sample sentence: Stone knives predate bows and arrows.
