Seniors’ Last Day Tuesday, May 7
Senior Checkout Monday, May 13 @ 8 AM Senior exams May 8-9; 7:40 am – 10:30 am; 3-205 You must take the exam if you failed either the 3rd or 4th nine weeks, if you have 6 or more days absent in a block class or 11 or more days absent in 1st hour to receive credit for graduation. Graduation Ceremony Friday, May 17, 9:00 Be in the building by 7:30 Am Doors open for guests at 7:00 and close at 8:45 Guest in a wheelchair? Only 2 others can sit with them.
General Info Take pictures before the ceremony. You will return your gown right after the ceremony. Plenty of parking Metal Detectors and bag searches Graduates cannot carry cameras, bags, purses, etc.
NOT PERMITTED Food or beverages Flower deliveries Balloons or signs Air horns, whistles, other noisemakers Disruptive guests may be asked to leave
Dress Guidelines SRHS cap, gown, and tassel from Herff Jones (ladies – red, gentlemen – silver) Tassels start on the right side No Gum Caps should be flat; no decorations Avoid heavy clothes Necklaces must be inside the gown Only SRHS issued cords and medallions are to be worn. No pins, etc.
Graduation Attire Look sharp! Ladies and gentlemen, business attire Dress pants – black, dark brown, or navy blue. No jeans or Khakis Dresses should not fall below the hem of the gown Dark dress shoes; black, dark brown, navy blue Ladies can wear silver or nude. Also dressy sandals. Gentlemen wear a light colored, button-down shirt with a TIE.
Project Graduation Cost is $20.19. Forms are in the front office. May 17 from 9:00 pm – 2:00 am
