Principal Upcoming Events Reminder: Spring Picture money is due tomorrow, March 29. Pre K & Kindergarten Round Up Thursday, April 4, 2019 4:00-6:00pm Pre-Kindergarten students must be 4 years old, on or before September 1, 2019. The following are the Pre-K qualifications: income based (please bring the four most current pay stubs for everyone living in the household) limited English proficiency homeless been in foster care parent in the armed services or parent lost while on duty Please bring the following documents: Proof of residency (gas or electricity bill and one of the following: contract of purchase, lease of home, property tax statement, warranty deed, or deed of trust) Original Birth certificate (not a copy) Social security card Up-to-date immunization record Drivers license of parent/guardian   Kindergarten is a full day program. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old, on or before September 1, 2019. Recently our school was nominated as a Blue Ribbon school. The application is complete for hopes of further recognition. Thank you for being a huge part of Griffis Elementary. Parents, if you are parking and walking your students to the door, please remember to use the crosswalk to make sure everyone remains safe.    School starts at 8:00 Students are tardy after 8:00 School ends at 3:30 Snacks brought to school must be store bought. Children must be fever free and diarrhea free for 24hrs before returning to school. If your child is absent, please send a note to the office the day after return.
