Preparation of the project idea: County Council of Castellón European Integration Department EUROPEAN COMMISSION Official announcement of proposals: DG EAC nº 24/05 “Promotion of Active European Citizenship”. PARTENALIA Enlargement Working Group

Project Objectives: Establishment of cooperation links between the municipalities belonging to the territories involved in the Partenalia Network and those municipalities belonging to the new Member States. Promotion of the active European citizenship through town twinning. Diffusion of the culture and traditions of other cities and regions in the territory in order to improve the understanding and knowledge of the cities of EU15 and the cities of the new Member States. Diffusion of best practices regarding town twinning.
