Chapter 7, Preparing the Content of your Speech pgs. 105-119 Define the goals of the three main parts of the speech: introduction, body and Conclusion. List and describe the seven organizational patterns and determine which would be most appropriate for your persuasive speech coming up. 3. Create a planning outline for your persuasive speech, following the specific guidelines provided here. Identify the type of supporting materials that would most effectively illustrate each main point in the speech.
