As an Initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Scheme Implementation, the Council had weeded out 750 Files on 7th July 2015 weighing about 4.45 Tonnes along with Newspapers, Old Magazines and other unwanted old Records The Council also disposed E-Waste Lying in the Corridor of the Council on which has occupied considerable space besides disturbing the Ambience

The Council will be disposing the old Files in the month of December 2016 which is estimated to be around 500 Files besides Newspapers and old Magazines which are no more required for any reference purpose in future. The Council will be sapling trees in our Regional Office in Kanpur where there is a small Garden Area within the Campus in the month of December 2016. The Common Effluent Treatment Plants SPCs are planning to contribute money for construction of Common Toilet in Vellore District.

The Council has cleaned the Office Premises of its Head Quarters, Chennai and Regional Offices on the eve of Dussera and Ayudha Pooja (Photos attached)
