The Stinky Cheese Vacation By: Geronimo Stilton

Setting The setting of this book is at Penny Pitcher Castle where Geronimo is learning how to use his money wisely with his Uncle Stingysnout or so everyone thinks.

Main Character The main character of the book is Geronimo Stilton. He is author of many good books but also a newspaper mouse of most famous newspaper in New Mouse City, The Rodent’s Gazette. He is always being dragged into adventures by his family, especially his sister Thea. But he would have nothing to write about if it were not for his sister. He is a loving, caring mouse who is always getting dragged into doing something he does not want to. But he just can’t say no to his family.

Supporting Characters Thea Stilton is the sister of Geronimo Stilton and also the special correspondent of the Rodent’s Gazette. Trap Stilton is the cousin of Geronimo also a trouble maker who’s trouble is always blamed on Geronimo. Uncle Stingysnout is the Uncle of Geronimo. He is what his name says a super stingy man who does not like to spend any money. He does not use an umbrella when it rains instead he takes a shower in the rain to save water. And when he makes tea he uses the same teabag over and over again. Benjamin is the dear nephew of Geronimo. He is Geronimo’s favorite nephew and the sweetest one too.

Summary of the Plot Trap the trouble maker cousin of Geronimo’s used up all the money in Geronimo’s credit card by tricking him and saying it was his birthday. So Geronimo's grandfather sent him away to Uncle Stingysnouts’s castle to help him learn a lesson about using his money wisely. But Uncle Stingysnout lives up to his name and is super stingy so he keeps asking Geronimo to do all these chores for him, because he is super cheap and stingy. And as you know Geronimo just can’t say no to anyone especially family, so he renovates the whole castle with the help of his family to find that is was all just a trick. And his Uncle was actually just opening a hotel and needed help to make the castle actually look like a hotel.

Opinion It was a good book it was funny and I liked it. It also had a twist at the end. I think that the book deserves 4 stars.

Favorite Part When Geronimo’s cousin Trap found a brochure that said a that Uncle Stingysnout was opening a new hotel. Geronimo found out it was just a trick and his uncle just needed help opening a new hotel. He did all that work for his uncle to find it was just a trick and not a lesson that he was supposed to learn.
