Fig 1 Diastolic frames of cine-b-TFE sequence (a, d and e) demonstrate the presence of moderate pericardial effusion, mild bilateral pleural effusion, and absence of ventricular and/or atrial enlargement. The main finding of short-axis images from fat saturated-T2w-Spin Echo (b) and post-Gadolinium 3D IR-GE T1w (c) was the presence of diffuse myocardial oedema and striae of midwall late enhancement both at septal level (arrows). Right ventricle free wall enhancement was also evident in the post-Gadolinium 2D IR-GE T1w image (f).
