Let’s Get Started... Task #1: Check your e3 Civic High email accounts for new information regarding school wide events and opportunities. Delete any old, irrelevant messages. Task #2: Finish reading “The School-to-Prison Pipeline” article. Read independently and finish annotating. Task #3: On the BACK of your article: Write 4 - 6 new vocabulary words from the articles and define them (these are words that were confusing to you and you did not know the meaning) Task #4: Prepare for a Socratic Seminar focusing on the article Task #5: HOMEWORK: Finish reading AND annotating the ENTIRE article. Use your annotation handout as a resource. AND have TWO discussion questions and TWO comments prepared for tomorrow’s socratic seminar. Please write them on the back of your article.
